The G1100 pairs a high-quality gooseneck cardioid microphone with a 10-button keypad and backlit LCD for selecting page codes and stored messages. A push-to-talk button with status indication and a page latch button for hands-free announcements make it practical at busy reception desks and dispatch positions. Up to 16 software-configurable priority levels arbitrate between simultaneous pages, and local digital signal processing conditions microphone audio before it reaches the network. A 50-minute recording pool covers all 10 stored messages, and default or custom preambles are stored locally so chimes play instantly. The station is powered by PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Class 3, 15.4 W) over a single Gigabit Ethernet connection carrying both audio and control via AVB or Dante. It mounts on a tabletop or, with the removable foot detached, flat against a wall; a K-slot accepts an optional Kensington lock and an optional PIN restricts unauthorized use.
