Product Description
The DS1398 places two drivers back to back so acoustic energy radiates evenly in all directions rather than in a single forward beam, which is the behavior masking designers want inside reflective plenum and underfloor spaces. As a networked loudspeaker it is intended for Dynasound networked sound masking architectures, where speakers are addressed and driven through network-connected processors. Even dispersion keeps the masking spectrum consistent across the occupied space below the plenum or above the floor cavity. This base model ships without the tile bridge; specify the DS1398B where ceiling-tile bridge mounting is required.
