Product Description
The DS1339 pairs a 5.25-inch full-range paper cone driver with a one-inch voice coil inside a compact enclosure. A convoluted, flame-retardant acoustical insert eliminates standing waves and metallic resonance so the masking spectrum stays smooth. Rated power handling is 4 watts at 70.7 volts, with the transformer secondary equal to 8 ohms for low-impedance connections. Nominal dispersion of 160 degrees horizontal by 165 degrees vertical delivers uniform coverage for masking, paging, and music signals. When suspended, the assembly presents a clean appearance with no exposed controls or wiring from below. At 8.5 inches in diameter, 4.5 inches tall, and 4.4 pounds, it hangs easily in open structure and plenum spaces.
