It is a standard interconnect for Qt and Qt X sound masking systems in open offices and commercial interiors.
Product Description
The CC-16-W is a plenum-rated, solid-conductor 24 AWG CAT-3 cable, pre-terminated with RJ-45 connectors in a straight-through T568B wiring scheme. It is purpose-built to daisy-chain Qt emitters, which lay out on a grid and connect over plenum-rated cable with pre-terminated ends. The 16-foot length is a common emitter-to-emitter spacing for standard ceiling grids. Because the connectors are factory-terminated, this sound masking emitter cable removes field crimping and speeds installation while keeping connections consistent. The plenum rating allows installation in air-handling ceiling spaces where code requires it. Use it with Qt Active or Qt standard emitters and a Qt or Qt X controller.
