Product Description
The CG29979 chassis is the rack infrastructure component for C2G's HDMI over IP system, designed to be paired with the CG29975 encoder, CG29976 decoder, and managed by the CG29977 network controller. In a typical enterprise AV-over-IP installation, encoders at source locations feed signals into the IP network, and decoders at display locations receive and output those signals. The CG29979 consolidates the head-end encoders into a single rack unit for clean cable termination and organized power management.
The flexible front or rear mounting orientation allows integrators to route HDMI source cables from the front while Ethernet patch connections exit the rear, or vice versa, depending on rack layout. This chassis is the recommended head-end enclosure for any C2G AV-over-IP deployment requiring organized rack installation of 4 to 16 encoder or decoder units.
