Product Description
The CG29536 uses active optical technology to carry the DisplayPort signal across 50 feet with no signal boosters or repeaters. Fiber construction eliminates electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that affects copper cables in environments with motors, ballasts, or dense cabling. The cable is source-powered via the DisplayPort port in most installations, requiring no external power supply.
The cable is directional — the source end is labeled for connection to the DisplayPort output and the display end connects to the DisplayPort input. It is factory terminated and cannot be cut or re-terminated in the field. For longer DisplayPort AOC runs, the CG29537 (75ft) is available at creationnetworks.net.
