Description

The Lava SSerial-PCI improves your data throughput rates, and saves valuable ISA slot real estate. The most common method of connecting an external peripheral (modem, digital camera, etc.) to a PC is through a serial port. Many PC users want a product that improves connectivity, and solves their real estate problems.

The SSerial-PCI does just that! This PCI bus single 9-pin serial port with 16550 UART supports data throughput rates up to 115.2k bps, saves an ISA slot, and fully supports PCI IRQ sharing. With easy plug-and-play installation, it automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM address; just plug it in and go!


  • Includes "Lava Com Port Redirect" utility software for renaming COM ports; allows for backward compatibility with software that supports COM 1-4 only
  • 100% compatible with any RS-232 serial peripheral including modem, PalmPC, digital camera, barcode scanner, UPS, and TAPI telephone
