A 7FT orange 01178 Cat6 Snagless Unshielded (UTP) Slim Network Patch Cable from C2G is the perfect solution for high-density datacenter applications that require high speeds and reliability. The use of 28 AWG conductors allows for a 36% reduction in the diameter of the cable over a Cat6 network patch cable that uses 20 AWG conductors. Due to the reduced diameter of the cable, there is a smaller surface area for the cable, therefore the airflow can be increased when compared to a regular Cat6 cable. As a result of having 28 AWG conductors, this cable is also able to bend more easily than standard Cat6 cables due to its smaller bend radius. The small size and small bend radius of this cable allows it to be easily routed through cable management panels.
