Description

In terms of high density datacenter applications, this C2G 01187 5 Ft White Cat6 Snagless Unshielded (UTP) Slim Network Patch Cable is the perfect option. The use of 28 AWG conductors allows for a 36% reduction in diameter in comparison to a standard Cat6 network patch cable by using 28 AWG conductors. As a result of this reduced diameter, the cable surface area is smaller, which allows for increased air flow through the cable when compared to a Cat6 cable of similar diameter. A 28 AWG conductor allows this cable to have a smaller bend radius than a standard Cat6 cable, as a result of the smaller diameter conductors. Because of its small size and small bend radius, this cable is able to be routed through cable management panels with ease, due to its small size and small bend radius.
The cable is designed specifically for fast Ethernet networks that require bandwidth-intensive applications such as voice, data, or video distribution with high bandwidth requirements. The Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels of this design can be minimized because it is constructed using high quality copper cable. The molded, snagless boot prevents unwanted cable snags during installation and provides extra strain relief. Available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation.
