To meet the high-density data center application needs, this C2G 01182 5FT purple Cat6 Snagless Unshielded (UTP) Slim Network Patch Cable is a perfect choice. The use of 28 AWG conductors results in a 36% reduction in the diameter of the cable over that of a standard Cat6 network patch cable. The reduced cable diameter provides a smaller surface area compared to standard Cat6 cables, which increases airflow as a result of the smaller surface area. The 28 AWG conductors also allow this cable to have a smaller bend radius than standard Cat6 cables. The small size and small bend radius of this cable allow it to be easily routed through cable management panels.
