A C2G 01090 Gray 4 FT Cat6 Snagless Unshielded (UTP) Slim Network Patch Cable, especially designed for high density applications in data centers, is an ideal choice for datacenter networks. The use of 28 AWG conductors allows for a 36% reduction in diameter when compared to a standard Cat6 network patch cable. It is because of this smaller diameter that the cable surface area is smaller when compared to standard Cat6 allows for more airflow when the cable is compared to standard Cat6 cables. A smaller bend radius is also possible thanks to the conductors of 28 AWG, which make this cable smaller in diameter than a conventional Cat6 cable. Due to its small size and small radius of bend, this cable is easy to route through cable management panels due to its small size and small bend radius.
In order to benefit from bandwidth-intensive applications such as voice, data, or video distribution, this cable is designed for fast Ethernet networks.
