BrightSign XC2055-WIN11 – Dual 4K HDMI Windows 11 IoT Media Player is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Product Overview
The BrightSign XC2055 Windows 11 IoT player is a fanless, dual-HDMI media player for new digital signage, dashboard and kiosk projects built on the current Windows platform. It combines an Intel Gen 11 Celeron processor, 8GB of LPDDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD with an included Windows 11 IoT license. For teams starting a fresh rollout, it gives you a Windows 11 IoT digital signage player in a commercial-grade chassis instead of a desktop PC hidden behind the screen.
Product Description
XC2055-WIN11 is the Windows 11 IoT build of BrightSign's XC5 platform. It is aimed at new deployments: projects where you are selecting signage software today, standing up a new Windows 11 image, or replacing consumer mini PCs with purpose-built hardware. Because it runs Windows, you can install the Windows signage client, browser-based dashboard or custom application your project calls for.
The XC5 hardware is fanless with built-in wall mounting, a locking 19V / 4.7A power supply and a 14-day real-time clock. Two HDMI outputs support dual-display layouts, and BrightSign lists hardware decode of two 4K60p streams at 10-bit with HDR10 and HLG. The 256GB SSD is installed in the internal M.2 PCIe slot for content caching and application data.
Some XC5 features are not available under Windows. GPIO, USB-C, IR, serial and 3.5 mm analog/SPDIF audio are not supported, only the power LED is active, and BrightSign's free remote player management is not available on XC5 Windows players. Projects that need contact-closure triggers, serial control or BrightSign management should use the BrightSign XC2055 with BrightSignOS, and installations that need four outputs can step up to the BrightSign XC4055 quad-output player. See the full BrightSign collection for the rest of the family.
Key Features
- Windows 11 IoT license included — The player ships licensed for Windows 11 IoT, giving new deployments a current Windows platform from day one.
- Built for new rollouts — A purpose-built Windows 11 player lets you standardize a new signage or kiosk image on commercial hardware rather than consumer mini PCs.
- Dual HDMI outputs — HDMI 1 (HDMI 2.1a) and HDMI 2 (HDMI 2.0a) drive two displays for menu boards, dashboards or paired portrait screens.
- Intel Gen 11 Celeron with 8GB LPDDR4 — PC-class processing runs Windows signage clients and browser-based dashboards with more headroom than an embedded player.
- 256GB SSD installed — The NVMe SSD in the internal M.2 PCIe slot stores content, playlists and application data locally.
- Fanless chassis — Silent, fan-free operation suits quiet rooms and enclosed mounting locations.
- Built-in wall mounting — Integrated mounting makes it simple to install the player behind a display or inside a cabinet.
- Locking power connector — The locking 19V / 4.7A supply keeps the player powered in public, high-traffic spaces.
- 5-year warranty — BrightSign lists a 5-year parts and labor warranty for Series 5 players purchased from BrightSign after January 1, 2025.
Typical Applications
- Commercial meeting space — Lobby welcome screens, room schedules and KPI dashboards on a new Windows 11 image.
