Product Overview
The BrightSign 256GB NVMe M.2 SSD is an internal storage accessory for BrightSign XC5 players, the XC2055 and XC4055. It installs in the player's internal M.2 PCIe slot and adds 256GB of PCIe NVMe storage for local content. It is the XC5 internal SSD upgrade BrightSign lists among the platform's accessories.
Product Description
The XC5 platform includes an internal M.2 PCIe slot for an optional NVMe SSD, and this 256GB module is the drive BrightSign lists for that slot. Adding it to a BrightSignOS BrightSign XC2055 or BrightSign XC4055 gives the player internal storage in addition to its microSD slot, which is useful for large local libraries of high-resolution video and graphics.
The same 256GB SSD capacity is what BrightSign ships installed in the Windows 10 IoT and Windows 11 IoT versions of the XC2055 and XC4055, so this part is also the natural replacement or spare for those players.
