Product Description

The PCMTIM adds a telephone line input to the Bogen PCM2000 modular paging platform, enabling telephone-initiated paging from any standard analog phone connected to the system. Once installed in the PCM2000 rack chassis, the module handles call detection, override control, and background music muting automatically when a telephone page is initiated. Night ring support is included, allowing incoming calls to trigger an audible ring signal through the paging system during after-hours or unattended operation — a common requirement in commercial office, warehouse, and institutional deployments.

Background music source relay connections on the PCMTIM allow the module to interrupt and resume music playback in coordination with paging activity, without requiring manual switching. Tone and ring volume are adjustable via dedicated dials on the rear panel, accessible during installation and system commissioning.
