Product Overview

The Bluesound Professional BSP125 (Black) is a compact network active loudspeaker with an integrated BluOS streaming player, designed for commercial installations where a self-powered, network-connected speaker is needed in a small form factor. Unlike the PoE-powered BSP200 and BSP500, the BSP125 runs on AC power and adds local analog and digital inputs, making it appropriate for zones that also require a direct source connection — such as a TV audio feed or a local music player. The 3.5-inch LF driver and 1-inch HF tweeter deliver 45Hz–20kHz with 25W of system power. Both wired gigabit ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi are supported for network connectivity.

Bluesound BSP125 Black compact network streaming speaker

Product Description

The BSP125 streams from commercial music services — SoundMachine, Custom Channels, QSIC, SiriusXM for Business, and Tunify — alongside Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, and internet radio via its integrated BluOS player. Hi-res audio to 192kHz/24-bit and MQA content are supported. A combo Toslink/3.5mm analog input allows a local source to be connected directly to the speaker and shared across the BluOS network to other players. A USB Type-A port supports local drive playback from FAT32-formatted media.

The BSP125 includes an integral wall-mount bracket with 40 degrees of swivel and 360 degrees of rotation, allowing flexible aim in corners, on shelves, or mounted directly to walls. It can be paired as a stereo pair, deployed in multiple mono configurations, or grouped with other BluOS devices on the network for synchronized zone control. The optional WM125 wall mount provides additional tilt and swivel control. Control via CP100, BluOS app, or third-party systems including Control4, Crestron, RTI, URC, ELAN, and Lutron is fully supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the BSP125 differ from the BSP200?

The BSP200 is PoE-powered (single ethernet cable for power and data) and suited for installations where no AC outlet is available at the speaker location. The BSP125 runs on AC power and adds local analog/digital inputs and Wi-Fi, making it the better choice where a direct source connection or wireless networking is needed.

Can the BSP125 connect via Wi-Fi?

Yes. The BSP125 supports dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) in addition to wired ethernet, giving installers flexibility when running ethernet cable to the speaker location is not practical.

Does the BSP125 pair with the WM125 wall mount?

Yes. The optional WM125-B (black) or WM125-WH (white) wall mount is purpose-built for the BSP125 and adds 15° of tilt and 40° of swivel beyond the integral bracket.

Can the BSP125 share its local input to other rooms?

Yes. Audio from the local analog or digital input can be shared across the BluOS network to other players and speakers, distributing a local source (such as a TV or media player) to additional zones without running new cables.

What is the warranty on the BSP125?

Bluesound Professional products are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Contact Creation Networks at creationnetworks.net for current warranty terms.
