The Blackmagic Design Web Presenter HD is a compact SDI streaming encoder that connects any SDI source and streams it live to the internet in up to 1080p60. Using the H.264 codec over RTMP, this HD SDI streaming encoder streams over Ethernet or a tethered 5G/4G phone and also works as a USB webcam for platforms like Zoom, Teams, YouTube Live, and Twitch, with SDI/HDMI monitor outputs showing detailed technical status.
Product Description
The Web Presenter HD accepts a multi-rate 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI input and encodes H.264 for RTMP streaming up to 1080p60. It streams over its Ethernet port or by tethering a 5G/4G smartphone over USB for mobile data, and its USB-C connector doubles as a webcam output so a connected computer sees the feed as a standard webcam in any streaming or conferencing software on macOS, Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS. As an SDI to RTMP streaming encoder, it includes an SDI loop output to pass the original feed to a monitor, switcher, or router, plus SDI and HDMI monitor outputs that display a graphics-rich status view — a large on-air indicator, audio meters with selectable ballistics (VU, PPM, and more), codec data-rate and cache trend graphs, a 6-second video/audio history, bit-depth activity indicators, and detailed SDI technical information. A bright front LCD shows basic status. Dual redundant power (mains AC plus a 4-pin XLR DC input) guards against power loss, the unit fits the optional Teranex Mini Rack Shelf for 1RU mounting, and it is compatible with the Blackmagic ATEM Streaming Bridge, which decodes the stream back to SDI or HDMI for routing.
