The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Immersive is a cinema camera built specifically to capture Apple Immersive Video for Apple Vision Pro. It uses a custom dual-lens system and dual 8160x7200 (58.7MP) sensors to record stereoscopic 3D 180° images at up to 8K 90 fps with 16 stops of dynamic range. As an Apple Immersive Video production camera with Blackmagic RAW recording and a full DaVinci Resolve workflow, it targets high-end immersive filmmaking.
Product Description
The URSA Cine Immersive captures stereoscopic 3D immersive imagery through two custom lenses paired with dual 58.7MP (8160x7200) sensors, each supporting 8K at up to 90 fps recorded to a single Blackmagic RAW file. It delivers 16 stops of dynamic range and Blackmagic generation 5 color science with a new film curve, and includes a high-performance Blackmagic Media Module 8TB for recording. Connectivity covers 12G-SDI, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, and XLR for professional audio, plus included antennas for high-speed Wi-Fi and support for mobile data. A fold-out 5" HDR touchscreen handles monitoring and control. The body combines a magnesium alloy chassis with a lightweight carbon-fiber polycarbonate skin, and power is supplied through an integrated 8-pin LEMO connector (with optional 12V/24V supplies) or the included B-mount battery plate for high-voltage batteries from IDX, Blueshape, Core SWX, BEBOB, and others. A DaVinci Resolve Studio license is included, with an end-to-end immersive workflow: monitoring on Apple Vision Pro from the timeline, editing Blackmagic RAW immersive footage, an immersive viewer for pan/tilt/roll, and export of native files for Apple Vision Pro.
