Product Description

The Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 12G accepts a single 12G-SDI input up to Full DCI 4K (4096x2160) and outputs the same resolution over HDMI 2.0a, with a 12G-SDI loop output for local monitoring and full SDI re-clocking for low jitter. Audio can be de-embedded and routed separately via two full-size XLR connectors switchable between balanced analog and AES/EBU digital. A rear Ethernet port allows remote management or PoE+ power, and a built-in 90–240V supply means you only need a standard IEC cable (sold separately) if not using PoE. The standard front panel has an array of mini switches for instant settings changes, and can be swapped for the optional Smart Panel with a spin knob, color LCD, and six control buttons to view the conversion, monitor audio, and verify timecode and video standard. In larger facilities, multiple units can be managed over Ethernet from a Mac or Windows computer using the included Converter Utility. A smart thermal design with crossflow cooling and an internal heat pipe keeps units cool even when rack-mounted side by side — up to three fit in an optional 1U 19" rack tray — and overheating alerts appear on the front panel and over Ethernet.
