The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Quad SDI to SDI 12G combines Quad-Link SDI sources into single-link 12G-SDI, connecting older quad-link 4K equipment to modern 12G-SDI gear. Housed in a low-profile Teranex Mini enclosure, it offers four 12G-SDI inputs and two 12G-SDI outputs with automatic input detection, multirate format support, and 24-bit 48 kHz audio.
Product Description
The Teranex Mini Quad SDI to SDI 12G takes a Quad-Link 12G-SDI input across four BNC connectors and outputs single-link 12G-SDI on two BNC outputs, so quad-link 4K sources can feed 12G-SDI destinations. Quad-Link and 12G-SDI protocols support DCI and UHD 4K as well as HD and SD, and automatic input signal detection recognizes the resolution and configures the input accordingly, with 24-bit 48 kHz broadcast-quality audio. The unit is controlled via front-panel DIP switches or software over Ethernet and USB, and an optional front-mounted Smart Panel with a built-in confidence monitor is available separately. A built-in 90–240V supply means you only need a standard IEC cable (sold separately) if not using PoE+, and its compact low-profile chassis works rack-mounted, desktop, or concealed in studio and post-production environments.
