The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K is a compact 1 M/E Ultra HD live production switcher with 10 standards-converted 12G-SDI inputs. Part of the ATEM Constellation family, it brings advanced broadcast features — ATEM Advanced Keyers, DVE, media players, multiview, and a built-in Fairlight audio mixer — into a rack-mount chassis with a built-in control panel.

Product Description

The 1 M/E Constellation 4K gives you 10 independent 12G-SDI inputs, each with its own standards converter so sources running at different formats re-sync to the switcher automatically. It includes 6 SDI outputs that can be independently routed from any input or internal source, 4 ATEM Advanced Keyers, a DVE, two media players, and a built-in multiview. The Fairlight audio mixer provides a 6-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, noise gate, and expander on each input.

Like the rest of the Constellation line, it uses professional program/preview switching — the same workflow used by broadcasters — so operators preview a source before cutting it to air, reducing mistakes. The compact rack-mount design has a built-in front control panel with a large LCD for program output and on-screen menus, plus a 5-pin talkback headset connector. The free ATEM Software Control for macOS and Windows is included, and you can add a 1 M/E ATEM Advanced Panel for hardware control. A USB-C connection lets the switcher act as a webcam source for Zoom, Teams, OBS, and similar software.
