The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD is a compact HD live production switcher with 10 independent 3G-SDI inputs and a single M/E row. Part of the ATEM Constellation family, it brings advanced keying, a built-in Fairlight audio mixer, and multiview into a rack-mount 2RU chassis with a built-in control panel.
Product Description
The 1 M/E Constellation HD is built for productions that need solid multi-camera HD switching without the larger input counts of the 2 M/E or 4 M/E models. Ten 3G-SDI inputs support HD formats up to 1080p60, and the switcher includes advanced keying, downstream keyers, and a built-in Fairlight audio mixer for full live sound control. A customizable multiview lets you monitor multiple sources on a single display, and the rack-mountable 2RU chassis includes an internal power supply.
Like the rest of the Constellation line, it uses broadcast-standard program/preview switching and can be operated from the built-in front panel, the free ATEM Software Control on macOS and Windows, or an optional ATEM Advanced Panel. That makes it a natural step up from ATEM Mini when a production needs more SDI inputs and professional control.
