Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 is a 4-input SDI multiviewer that displays four 10-bit 6G-SDI sources in a 2x2 layout on an Ultra HD monitor or TV. It accepts SD, HD, Ultra HD, and DCI 4K signals in any combination, re-synchronizing each input, and provides both 6G-SDI and HDMI multi-view outputs plus per-input SDI loop outputs. Housed in a 1RU machined-aluminum chassis, this 6G-SDI quad multiviewer is built for the studio, broadcast truck, or location use.
Product Description
MultiView 4 takes four 6G-SDI inputs and renders them as a native Ultra HD 2x2 multi-view, letting you monitor each source with full clarity on a 4K display. Each input is fully re-synchronized and reclocked, and two-channel audio meters are shown for every view. Outputs include one 6G-SDI multi-view, one HDMI multi-view, and a 6G-SDI loop output on each of the four inputs so signals can pass to additional devices. As an Ultra HD 2x2 multiview monitor, it accepts everything from NTSC/PAL and HD up to UHD 4K (3840x2160) to 30p and DCI 4K (4096x2160) at 24p. It is controlled by the included software over Ethernet — supporting the Videohub router protocol — or by an optional Teranex front panel, and it provides tally support with ATEM switchers via an optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel. A built-in multi-voltage supply runs on 90–240 VAC, or the unit can be powered over PoE+ (48 VDC). Note: an IEC power cable is not included.
