The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G converts SDI to HDMI in SD, HD, and Ultra HD, de-embedding audio to HDMI, AES/EBU, or balanced analog. It adds practical monitoring features including down-conversion for viewing Ultra HD on HD HDMI monitors, built-in 3D LUTs, and HDMI instant lock for immediate display when an SDI input is connected.
Product Description
The Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G accepts SDI signals up to DCI 4K 24p / UHD 4K 30p across two 6G-SDI inputs (a primary and a backup) and outputs HDMI plus a 6G-SDI loop. It automatically detects the input format and switches instantly, and can down-convert Ultra HD to HD so a 4K source can be monitored on an HD HDMI display. Built-in 3D LUTs allow on-the-fly looks, and HDMI instant lock keeps the HDMI output displaying cleanly. Audio is de-embedded from the SDI input to HDMI, AES/EBU, or balanced analog via 1/4" jacks. Settings are controlled by built-in mini switches or over USB using free Mac/Windows software, which also handles firmware updates, and a 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
