The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to Analog accepts an SDI input and converts it to HD/SD component, NTSC, PAL, or S-Video output, with an SDI loop-through. If the SDI signal carries embedded audio, the converter can de-embed it for output via the analog audio connections — making it a simple way to connect SDI equipment to analog monitors and legacy gear.
Product Description
The Mini Converter SDI to Analog takes a single SDI input, switchable between SD, HD, and 3G-SDI, and outputs analog component, composite (NTSC/PAL), or S-Video, along with an SDI output to pass the signal on. Audio embedded in the SDI stream can be de-embedded and output as two channels of balanced analog or two channels of AES/EBU digital via 1/4" jacks. This makes it well suited to feeding analog displays, recorders, and legacy equipment from a modern SDI source. The unit is powered by an included 12V supply.
