The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K distributes a single SD/HD/3G/6G-SDI signal to eight SDI devices simultaneously. It automatically detects the input signal, re-clocks it, and its eight outputs match the input video format — supporting resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K and DCI 4K, plus embedded audio, ancillary data, and ASI signals.
Product Description
Using 6G-SDI technology, the Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K takes one Single Link SD/HD/3G/6G-SDI input and feeds eight re-clocked SDI outputs, each automatically matching the input format. It supports resolutions up to UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 24 fps, along with SD, HD, and 3G-SDI. The converter passes all standard SDI transmission features including embedded audio and ancillary data, and it also handles ASI signals — asynchronous streams carrying multiple compressed programs at varying transmission speeds. Settings are controlled by built-in DIP switches or over USB using the included Mac/Windows software, which also handles firmware updates, and a 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
