Introducing the new Blackmagic Micro Converters, which are incredibly tiny broadcast video converters which make it possible for consumers to connect their HDMI devices to professional SDI video equipment. Their rugged and miniaturized design allows them to fit into any space and allow them to be used anywhere! You get professional 3G-SDI or 12G-SDI connections, depending on the models, so you can work with SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. Micro Converters use USB for power, so they can be powered directly from televisions or laptop computers. You can even purchase them without power supplies! Unlike other converters, Blackmagic Micro Converters feature custom electronics that are compliant with global broadcast specifications, and can be updated to meet future standards in the future as well.
The pocket-sized Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 12G features timecode support, SDI re-clocking for stability over long cable runs, and support for a wide range of pro broadcast resolutions including cine-style 48 fps. The converter features a sturdy metal housing with power and signal LED status indicators and rugged connector interfaces. The USB Type-C port enables the SDI to HDMI 12G converter to easily connect to and be powered by adapters, monitors, laptops, or desktop computers, and it also facilitates firmware updates from a Windows or macOS computer. A power supply and an international plug adapter set is included with the converter.
