Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G links HDMI cameras or computers to professional SDI (BNC) monitors and equipment, with one HDMI input and two 3G-SDI outputs. It auto-detects and matches the HDMI input to the SDI output, supports resolutions up to 1080p60, and can chain multiple units to extend HDMI over long SDI cable runs. This version includes a 100–240V power supply with four international socket adapters.
Product Description
This pocket-sized converter takes one HDMI 2.0 input and provides two 3G-SDI outputs, which can be set to Level A or B. It supports formats from NTSC and PAL up to 1080p60 on HDMI and up to DCI 2K on SDI, including cine-style 48 fps, with HDMI timecode conversion to SDI and built-in re-clocking on the 3G-SDI outputs for stable signals over longer cable runs. HDCP 2.2 and embedded audio are supported. The sturdy metal housing has power and signal LED indicators, and the USB-C port powers the unit from a monitor, laptop, or adapter and handles firmware updates from a Mac or Windows computer. This model ships with a 100–240V power supply and four international socket adapters, and can also draw power over USB-C.
