This 58mm center-pinch lens cap secures to the front of a 58mm-threaded lens and shields the front element during transport and storage. The center-pinch design allows the cap to be attached or removed with a lens hood in place, making it practical for crews that need a quick, low-cost front lens cap on hand. It is a plastic front cap intended purely as physical protection for the lens element.
