The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is a broadcast-grade deck for recording and playback of HD video up to 1080p60, built around fast SSD media and 12G-SDI connectivity. The 2U rackmount unit pairs dual 12G-SDI and HDMI in/out with a built-in LCD touchscreen, Ethernet and RS-422 control, and dual redundant power, making it suited to studios and live-production racks that need reliable HD recording and playout.
Product Description
This rackmount recorder captures and plays HD video to SSD media, recording in ProRes, DNxHD, and uncompressed formats. It has two 12G-SDI inputs and two 12G-SDI outputs plus HDMI in and out for monitoring and switching, and records to internal SSD or external drives over USB-C. A front LCD touchscreen handles control and monitoring, with Ethernet and RS-422 for remote operation and deck control. Dual redundant, hot-swappable power supplies provide the reliability expected in broadcast environments. The 2U chassis fits a standard equipment rack.
