Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console is a full audio mixing control surface for the Fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve, with 12 touch-sensitive motorized faders, multifunction pan knobs, and a high-resolution LCD above each channel strip. It gives audio post engineers hands-on control of levels, automation, EQ, dynamics, and plug-ins, with an HDMI output for the same graphical feedback as larger Fairlight consoles. As a compact 12-fader audio control surface, it suits smaller studios, commercials, online, and independent work.
Product Description
The Fairlight Desktop Console is a complete DaVinci Resolve Fairlight console for mixing multiple tracks at once, automating parameters and plug-in settings, controlling channel functions, recording, monitoring, and navigating a project. Twelve channel strips each provide a motorized fader, a multifunction pan knob, solo/mute and select buttons, and an individual LCD showing track name, number, color, panning, level meters, automation state, and bus routing. Any strip can be assigned to any track, a single strip can control a group of tracks, or strips can control buses, giving flexible command over recording and mixing sessions. The motorized fader mixing console uses the same high-quality sculpted faders as the full-size modular consoles, with rotary encoder knobs for noiseless operation and buttons rated to a million presses. A built-in HDMI output drives an external display for interactive graphical feedback, while a responsive search dial speeds navigation compared with a mouse. The console has an internal power supply — no power brick — a soft front-panel bumper for long sessions, and can be installed flush into a custom desk, making it a practical desktop audio post-production console for permanent rooms.
