Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design Media Dock for URSA Cine 12K accelerates post-production by making URSA Cine footage faster and simpler to access for editing and color. It mounts up to three Blackmagic Media Modules for high-speed access to media from multiple cameras at once, with four 10G Ethernet ports, a USB-C connection, and an HDMI output for real-time media status.
Product Description
The Media Dock holds up to three hot-swappable Media Modules so footage from several URSA Cine cameras can be accessed simultaneously. Four high-speed 10G Ethernet ports let up to four edit workstations connect directly and stay fast even with many users connected, while the USB-C connection also supports Ethernet so you can transfer media with a single cable to a computer. An HDMI output shows media status in real time on a TV or monitor.
Because URSA Cine records an H.264 HD proxy alongside the camera-original media, the small proxy files can upload to Blackmagic Cloud in seconds — even while recording — so media is available back at the studio in real time and can flow directly into the DaVinci Resolve media bin as editors work. With multiple cameras, the Cut page's multi-source feature shows each angle in a multiview. The dock supports cloud sync to Blackmagic Cloud, Dropbox, and Google Drive, and up to 50 SMB connections, with dual built-in AC power inputs.
