The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K is a low-profile PCIe capture card with 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs for recording all formats up to 2160p30 on a computer. The SDI and HDMI inputs automatically detect and switch between video formats, and the card supports HDR recording with metadata over HDMI plus Rec. 2020 color. As a UHD capture card for macOS, Windows, and Linux, it fits compact systems, mobile live-capture rigs, and broadcast trucks.
Product Description
The DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K provides one 6G-SDI input and one HDMI 2.0a input, capturing DCI 4K and UHD (up to 2160p30), HD, and SD with automatic format detection. It records HDR with metadata over HDMI along with Rec. 2020 color, uses 10-bit processing, and includes hardware color-space conversion and software HD down-conversion. Sixteen channels of embedded SDI audio (eight over HDMI) are captured with the video. The low-profile PCIe 2.0 x4 card ships with both full-height and low-profile brackets, draws about 8 W, and is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. Developers can build custom capture solutions with the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK. It's a dedicated capture card; for monitoring output, the matching Mini Monitor 4K provides SDI and HDMI outputs instead.
