The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is a low-profile PCIe playback card with 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a outputs for monitoring all formats up to 2160p30 from a computer. It outputs to any SDI or HDMI television or monitor, auto-detecting and switching between formats, and supports HDR playback with metadata over HDMI and Rec. 2020 color. As a UHD monitoring output card for macOS, Windows, and Linux, it gives editing and grading systems an accurate 4K reference output.
Product Description
The DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K provides one 6G-SDI output and one HDMI 2.0a output, covering DCI 4K and UHD (up to 2160p30), HD, and SD with automatic format detection and switching. It outputs HDR with metadata over HDMI along with Rec. 2020 color, uses 10-bit processing, and includes hardware color-space conversion and software HD down-conversion. Sixteen channels of embedded SDI audio (eight over HDMI) accompany the video. The low-profile PCIe 2.0 x4 card ships with both full-height and low-profile brackets to fit different chassis, draws about 10 W, and is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. Developers can build custom playback solutions with the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK. It's a dedicated monitoring-output card; for capture, the matching Mini Recorder 4K provides an input instead.
