The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is an 8K PCIe capture and playback card with four bidirectional 12G-SDI ports plus HDMI 2.1 input and output, supporting all SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K, and 8K standards. It captures and plays 8/10-bit YUV 4:2:2 and 10/12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with full Rec. 2020 color, at up to 120 fps in HD/4K and 60 fps in 8K. As a high-end PCIe SDI/HDMI capture card for macOS, Windows, and Linux, it targets feature-film, high-frame-rate, and HDR workflows.
Product Description
The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 combines four 12G-SDI connections with HDMI 2.1 in and out to cover everything from SD up to 8K (8192x4320 and 7680x4320) to 60p, 4K DCI/UHD to 120p, and HD to 120p. Using the free DeckLink SDK, the four SDI links can be configured in any direction, format, or frame rate up to 4K DCI 60p for true multi-channel capture and playback. It supports 8/10/12-bit 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 (RGB/YUV) with full Rec. 2020 color and Hybrid Log Gamma HDR, and the SDI connections carry up to 64 channels of embedded audio (32 over HDMI). A blackburst reference input and RS-422 deck control round out the I/O for integration into professional pipelines. As a PCIe capture and playback card it is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux and works with the broad ecosystem of Blackmagic-supported editing, grading, and live software, making it suited to the next generation of high-resolution, high-frame-rate, and HDR production.
