Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad 3G-SDI Mezzanine card is a replacement daughter card for the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G PCIe main board. It adds four BNC 3G-SDI connectors — grouped as two inputs and two outputs — that work alongside the four 12G-SDI connectors on the main board, expanding the card's input and output options. This daughter card functions only when fitted to a DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G main board.
Product Description
This mezzanine (daughter) card replaces the original HDMI/optical-fiber output card supplied with the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, giving the board Quad 3G-SDI input and output that the main board cannot provide on its own. The four BNC connectors are arranged as two 3G-SDI inputs and two 3G-SDI outputs and operate in conjunction with the board's four 12G-SDI connectors; the card can also take a 12G-SDI signal in and output it as Quad 3G-SDI. It is a replacement or upgrade part and works only when connected to the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G main board; it is not a standalone capture card. Driver version 10.4.2 or later is required.
