This is useful in film and television, where media recorded to affordable USB-C flash disks can be shared directly with an edit team rather than copied to each workstation; depending on the disk used, it can handle large Blackmagic RAW files up to 12K. Two USB-C ports let a single Pod host two disks at the same time, and USB-C is also used for settings and updates. The 10G Ethernet port connects to current 10G switches for high performance under load, while an HDMI monitor output shows a live status view with a storage map, speed graphs, sync state, active users, and power.
