Product Overview
The Blackmagic Design Cloud Dock 4 shares up to four independent 2.5" disks over a high-speed 10G Ethernet network. Plug in SATA HDDs or SSDs, or high-performance U.2 disks, for fast network file access, and sync files globally with Dropbox and Google Drive. Four 10G Ethernet ports, an Ethernet-over-USB-C port, an HDMI status output, and an internal power supply fit in a single rack unit, making it portable network storage for film and television work.
Product Description
Cloud Dock 4 turns standard 2.5" drives into shared network storage: load up to four SATA HDDs/SSDs or U.2 disks into its hot-swappable bays and access them over 10G Ethernet. Four 10G Ethernet ports let multiple computers connect, and an Ethernet-over-USB-C port allows a laptop to connect directly without an adapter. An HDMI monitor output shows live storage, connection, and sync activity, and Dropbox/Google Drive sync keeps files aligned across locations. Drives format as exFAT or HFS+. The 1U chassis has an internal power supply and runs without active cooling.
