The Blackmagic Design Cloud Dock 2 shares up to two independent 2.5" disks over a high-speed 10G Ethernet network. Plug in SATA HDDs or SSDs, or high-performance U.2 disks, for fast network file access, and sync files globally with Dropbox and Google Drive. Two 10G Ethernet ports, an Ethernet-over-USB-C port, and an HDMI status output fit in a compact half-width, single-rack-unit chassis — portable network storage for film and television work.
Product Description
Cloud Dock 2 turns standard 2.5" drives into shared network storage: load up to two SATA HDDs/SSDs or U.2 disks into its hot-swappable bays and access them over 10G Ethernet. Two 10G Ethernet ports let computers connect at high speed, and an Ethernet-over-USB-C port allows a laptop to connect directly without an adapter. An HDMI monitor output shows live storage, connection, and sync activity, and Dropbox/Google Drive sync keeps files aligned across locations. Drives format as exFAT or HFS+. The half-width chassis is fanless and highly portable.
