The PYXIS Pro Grip mounts to the side of a Blackmagic PYXIS camera and connects via the expansion port with a locking USB-C cable, so it's powered by the camera with no separate battery. It provides quick access to record start/stop plus assignable function controls, giving operators direct tactile control without navigating menus or reaching for an external remote — useful in documentary, commercial, and narrative shooting.
