The HD8 ISO provides eight standards-converted 3G-SDI inputs with re-sync, plus program and two aux outputs, so you can run a complete mobile multi-camera production from one familiar broadcast panel. The ISO model records all eight inputs into separate files with matched timecode for multi-cam editing in any NLE, and with optional internal network storage you can edit while recording and share media between multiple users. A built-in hardware streaming engine streams H.264/AAC for direct upload to platforms like YouTube, while the aux outputs feed large screens and projectors for live audiences. Remote cameras connect over local Ethernet or the internet with tally and camera control.

Operation is straightforward — press a program-row button to cut, or pre-select on the preview row and choose cut or an effect transition such as dissolve, dip to color, or DVE squeeze/push, with a T-bar for manual control. It includes four ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers with color picker, edge/flare control, and a foreground color corrector for clean composites and virtual sets, plus an independent DVE for picture-in-picture with 3D borders and shadows, and a SuperSource engine with four additional DVEs. The media pool holds 20 HD stills with fill and key (motion clips to 400 frames at 720HD / 200 frames at 1080HD), managed via ATEM Software Control and the free Photoshop plug-in. The front panel includes source, transition, recording, and streaming buttons, live aux switching, and a dedicated audio-mixer area with metering on an LCD.
