The Black Box CAT5EPC-006-BK is a 6-foot black CAT5e Ethernet patch cable rated at 100MHz with a PVC UTP jacket. The 6-foot length is one of the most commonly used patch cable lengths for standard rack-to-device and outlet-to-device connections.
Product Description
This standard CAT5e patch cable meets TIA-568 performance requirements at 100MHz and supports 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet for general network connectivity in commercial installations. The 6-foot length is practical for wall outlet-to-device connections, patch panel cross-connects in standard racks, and direct device-to-device links in AV equipment racks and workstation areas. CAT5e remains the minimum accepted standard for new commercial cabling installations and is fully backward compatible with older 10/100 Fast Ethernet equipment. The UTP PVC jacket is suitable for in-building use. Black color supports straightforward cable identification. Molded snagless boots protect the RJ-45 latch.
