The ultra-short 1-foot length is specifically designed for direct adjacent-port connections in high-density patch panels, TOR switch links, and rack-internal connections where cable slack is undesirable and a neat, minimal run is required.

This 1-foot slim CAT6 patch cable is the shortest option in the Black Box C6PC28 line, intended for direct connections between adjacent patch panel ports and top-of-rack switches, or between co-located devices within a single rack unit or adjacent rack units. The 28AWG slim construction keeps the cable diameter minimal, contributing to clean, tidy rack appearance and maximum airflow. At 1 foot, there is virtually no cable slack to manage, eliminating the looping and bundling that longer patch cables require in tight spaces. Snagless boot protects the RJ-45 latch during removal in dense patch environments. CM-rated UTP jacket is rated for in-building commercial use.
