Product Overview
The Biamp Vocia VO-4e is an enhanced networked audio output expansion device that adds four line-level and CobraNet output channels to a Vocia system. It includes comprehensive fixed-chain DSP and channel-to-channel or device-to-device failover for reliable distributed audio and paging. It suits government, commercial and multi-purpose facilities expanding Vocia output zones. Dual PoE and auxiliary power inputs provide redundancy.
Product Description
The VO-4e is an enhanced networked audio output expansion device that adds four line-level and CobraNet output channels to a Vocia system. It can be configured for channel-to-channel or device-to-device failover and uses comprehensive fixed-chain digital signal processing including volume control, ducking, equalization, compressor/limiter, speaker crossover, delay and output gain. Emergency messages for life-safety systems are stored in non-volatile memory, and two rear-panel RJ-45 connectors provide redundant connectivity for process control data, audio and power over a single Ethernet cable. The device also has dual inputs for accepting power from an auxiliary supply, and a per-channel paging relay provides a contact closure when paging is active on an associated channel. Speaker line monitoring and ambient noise compensation are supported using the ELD-1 and ANC-1 devices.
