The Vocia Input 8 (VI-8) facilitates live audio paging from user sources to emergency and non-emergency zones in a Vocia system. It allows direct paging access from eight sources via analog mic/line level inputs or CobraNet digital audio connections. Nine logic inputs can be assigned to Vocia control events including paging control, and a logic output plus four relay outputs can be assigned to control events. The logic output can report status from one or several daisy-chained VI-8 units to an external system, and the monitored logic inputs and output support supervised operation. Software-configurable signal processing includes volume control, filters, and compressor/limiting.
