Product Overview
The Biamp Tesira STC-2 is a modular telephone interface card for use with Tesira SERVER and SERVER-IO devices. It allows a Tesira system to connect directly to standard analog telephone lines. Each channel includes line-echo cancellation, noise suppression, caller ID decoding, ring detection and validation, DTMF decoding, and call-progress tone decoding. It is intended for conferencing and telephony integration in installed audio systems.
Product Description
The STC-2 lets a Tesira system place and answer calls over analog telephone lines, and when used with Acoustic Echo Cancellation processing it forms a flexible conferencing platform. The card supports initiating outgoing calls through DTMF tone dialing, speed-dialing, redial, and flash, and detects and answers incoming calls. It provides line echo cancellation, TouchTone decoding, caller ID reception, call-progress detection, line-intrusion detection, a noise-suppression filter, and continuous line status and fault monitoring. It can be controlled by external control systems, by control dialog boxes in Tesira software, or by logic control from within Tesira or RCB devices. The card is RoHS compliant and AES grounded, and is covered by Biamp's five-year warranty.
