Product Overview

The Biamp Parlé TCM-XA is an AVB low-profile ceiling microphone with an integrated PoE+ amplifier for use in Biamp Tesira systems, combining a black ceiling microphone and a network box. Its Beamtracking technology uses four 90-degree zones for full 360-degree room coverage, making it a strong fit for conferencing and collaboration spaces. It suits boardrooms, conference rooms, huddle rooms, and training rooms that need discreet, intelligible audio capture. Primary keyword: AVB ceiling conferencing microphone; long-tail: Beamtracking ceiling microphone, PoE+ ceiling mic for Tesira, 360-degree conference room microphone.

Product Description

The TCM-XA comprises a low-profile circular ceiling microphone measuring 5.9 inches (150 mm) in diameter and a network box that includes the DSP for Beamtracking plus a 2-channel PoE+ Class D amplifier. Beamtracking technology actively tracks and intelligently mixes conversations across four 90-degree zones, and works out of the box without lobe aiming or room mapping. The microphone uses only one channel of AEC per unit and connects to the network box over a single category cable. The amplifier offers software-selectable power versus channel count, an internal limiter, and a burst mode that handles peak signals per ANSI/CTA-2006-B (up to 40W at 4 ohms or 30W at 8 ohms per channel). The network box adds an RJ-45 to connect an optional TCM-XEX expansion microphone. The unit is evaluated to UL 2043 for use in air-handling spaces and is finished in black. It is covered by Biamp Systems' five-year warranty.
