Product Overview
The Biamp Desono MC-250 is a 250-foot bulk spool of Magic Cable supplied in black. Magic Cable is a patent-pending composite cable that combines mechanical suspension and electrical conductors in a single run for pendant loudspeakers. It is used to extend or install Desono pendant models in fixed installations. The bulk spool lets installers cut cable to the lengths a project requires.
Product Description
Magic Cable comprises two stainless steel aircraft cables, two 18 AWG conductors in a separate jacket, and integrated ripcords that allow the installer to slice through the cable jackets as needed. The Desono P6 and P6-SM pendant loudspeakers ship with 15 ft (4.5 m) of attached Magic Cable, suspending them up to 14 ft (4.2 m) from the ceiling. The MC-250 spool extends Desono pendants beyond 14 ft (4.2 m), and supports installing pendant models that have no factory-attached cable, such as the DP6 and P30DT. This spool is supplied in black; precut hanging whips are also offered.
