Product Overview
The Biamp Desono ENTASYS 750 Watt External Autoformer is a step-down auto-transformer for use with the ENT-FR or ENT-LF column loudspeakers in constant-voltage distribution systems. Designated the ENT-750TW, it converts a distributed high-voltage, low-current signal to a lower-voltage, higher-current signal that can effectively drive ENTASYS column loudspeakers. It is offered in white to match the loudspeaker enclosure, and a matching mounting bracket is included.
Product Description
In constant-voltage distribution systems, long cable runs introduce I²R losses. The ENT-750TW autoformer minimizes these losses by stepping the distributed voltage down to a level appropriate for driving the ENT-FR and ENT-LF column loudspeakers, preserving output and efficiency over long runs. It has a frequency response of 200 Hz to 15 kHz with 0.5 dB insertion loss, and a recommended 200 Hz, 24 dB/octave high-pass filter. The unit uses a one-piece aluminum extrusion enclosure with molded nylon end caps and ships with a "T" mounting bracket. It is available in white to coordinate with the enclosure finish.
