Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DX-S8 is an 8-inch high-output coaxial surface-mount loudspeaker, sold as a pair and supplied in white. It provides high efficiency, high output, high intelligibility, and low distortion in an attractive design, and installs quickly with the included ClickMount pan-tilt bracket. A built-in 70V/100V autoformer and low-impedance input give it broad system flexibility. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use and suits a wide variety of speech and music applications.
Product Description
The DX-S8 shares the same components and voicing as the DX ceiling loudspeakers, providing uniform sound across the Desono DX family. For larger installations, the 8-inch coaxial DX-S8 delivers higher sound pressure levels, higher sensitivity, and greater bass extension, and easily outperforms competitive 10-inch format loudspeakers. Its coaxially mounted HF and LF drivers provide uniform coverage, and the innovative ClickMount pan-tilt bracket makes installation and aiming easy. The loudspeaker is ETL listed to comply with UL 1480A, CE marked, and RoHS compliant. It is offered in white with a weather-resistant design suitable for direct outdoor use.
