Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DX-S5 is a high-output 5-inch coaxial surface-mount loudspeaker for indoor and outdoor use, sold as a pair. It provides high efficiency, high output, high intelligibility, and low distortion in a compact design. The DX-S5 shares components and voicing with the DX ceiling loudspeakers. It is equipped with a built-in 70 V/100 V autoformer and a low-impedance input.
Product Description
Easily outperforming larger formats, the DX-S5 is ideal for installations where space is at a premium. Its modern appearance blends into most environments, while weather-resistant capability and an IP54 rating make it suitable for direct outdoor use. Coaxially mounted HF and LF drivers provide uniform coverage, and uniform voicing with the DX ceiling models simplifies system design. The included ClickMount pan-tilt bracket makes installation and aiming easy, and an optional ClickMount U-Bracket with ClickPlug is available. The loudspeaker is ETL listed to UL 1480A. Backed by Biamp's five-year warranty.
